Question 1: What brands of windows do you carry?

Why: Offering more than just one type of windows allows for greater selection and accommodates different budgets.

Our Answer: We carry over a dozen different brands of windows and doors. Diversity in the type of products we carry means more choices for you. It also allows for our team to have access and knowledge a variety of windows to best suit your needs.

Question 2: Do you have both a B & C17 Contractors License?

Why: The B contractors license is a general contractors license, every contractor should have one of these. The C17 contractors license allows for a contractor to do more in-depth work with glass, windows and doors. To look up license information you can visit www.cslb.ca.gov.

Our Answer: Yes, we have both a B and C17 California Contractors license, our license number is 840757.

Question 3: How many screws do you use in every window?

Why: Screws help hold the window in place. Our competition typically uses 4 screws on every window.

Our Answer: We use 6-10 screws per window. The exact number is determined by the type and size of window.

Question 4: How precise are your window measurements?

Why: The smaller increments windows are measured in the more glass space the windows will have. Most window companies measure to the half inch.

Our Answer: We measure to one eighth of an inch. Especially when it comes to retrofit windows it is crucial that window openings be measured at this scale.

Question 5: What type of caulk do you use and has it been tested to be safe for the windows?

Why: The type of caulk used is vital to the longevity of your windows. The wrong caulk can eat away at the flashing on your windows and can also result in water leakage.

Our Answer: We primarily use Novaflex caulk or Sikaflex caulk. In special circumstances we use a combination of the two. We have done our own in-house testing to determine that these are the best caulk brands to be used with your windows.

Bonus Question: How often do you have to service leaking windows that you have installed?

Why: This is the most important question. Windows that leak are a headache to both the property owner and the installer.

Our Answer: In over 15 years of installing windows we have never had a window leak due to faults in the installation process. Most companies offer a two year warranty on their installation, we offer a lifetime warranty. We stand behind our installers and the quality of their work.
